Where I've Been

Moved across the country to New York and am now living with my girlfriend in Brooklyn. Currently in the process of adopting all the transplant hobbies before I get too old.

• Adopted a second cat (Peakaboo) since Gremlin needed a friend while Mom and Dad were off at work
• Went on a couple of podcasts to talk about some of the AI Infrastructure Investments that I helped make ahead of the AI boom
• Picking up all the hobbies I've been putting off: Reading, Cooking, Fashion, Pottery, Coding, Writing, Photography, Finance and more

Returned to the Bay Area and dove head first into an episode of Silicon Valley. Enjoyed some much needed family time before COVID quarantine ended.

• Met my girlfriend (Jessa) in 2021. She was also quitting Deloitte at the same time
• Helped give birth to 4 kittens and adopted 1 of them (Princess Gremlin)
• Made my first investments and watched one of them go public!

Took my first job selling out to corporate America and learned everything from writing a compelling proposal to making a mean PowerPoint deck.

• Worked in-office for about 2 weeks before COVID forced us to work from home
• Took some time to do some non-profit consulting and used Excel to help a non-profit manage crop planning and yields

Got a sneak peek at what a PhD looked like and almost had multiple coffee-induced heart attacks. Realized I probably wasn't cut out for the stressful world of academia.

• Gave in and actually learned Stats and how to code because my thesis required it
• Realized that Data Science and xgBoost were badass
• Received a Cease-and-Desist from the Ivy League for trying to start an Ivy League Esports League

Realized I suck at Computer Science and found my love for the contradictory-filled world of Economics and Psychology. Realized my dream job was to become a Therapist because I love hearing the tea.

• Started a Video Game Club and taught a college course about the history of Video Games
• Broke the 100 Yard Backstroke School Record and promptly hung up my speedo and goggles my Sophomore Year
• Found a deep love for Research under Professor FeldmanHall

Grew up during 2 different bubbles while living in the bubble of Silicon Valley. Spent most of the time Swimming Competitively and Playing League of Legends poorly.

• Learned to hate reading because I am partially dyslexic
• Learned to love writing because of an amazing english tutor
• Made friends with some of the best people in the world through the wacky world of Swimming
